Minutes of the meeting
1.The AGM approved the appointment of Ms.Srividhya Hariharan as the interim treasurer for the period Apr 2019-Aug 2019.
2.Ms.Srrividhya Hariharan was unanimously elected as the treasurer of IAPA and will continue in office till the completion of the committee's term in 2020.
3.Ms.Srividhya Hariharan presented the audited report for the period Apr 2018-Mar 2019 and was approved by the AGM.
4.All the members felt that interns without arrears should be encouraged to take IAPA membership.State chapters to play a key role in this regard.
5. The position of vice-president has become vacant with the incumbent Ms.Hemalatha Sriniketh moving out of the country .Nominations shall be called for through the official website www.iapaonline.org. Election will be conducted if there are more than one nomination. The decision is to be communicated to her through mail by the joint secretary.
6.IAPA Bye-laws will be updated in website at the earliest.
7. Mumbai and Tamilnadu state chapters to be formed. Mumbai chapter's jurisdiction will be the state of Maharashtra and Gujarat.Mr. Nihal & Mr.Prakash were given the responsibility for setting up Mumbai chapter and Ms. Anitha Chandrasekhar came forward to set up Tamilnadu chapter.
8. Next IAPA conference is planned in New Delhi as IAPAE has expressed interest to collaborate with us next year. It will be easy to get key government officials for the conference. Kochi was shortlisted as second option
9.Mr.Shivakumar briefed about the progress in the registration work done . There is no clarity on Penalty and the consultant opined that a writ will settle the issue

10.AGM took strong exception to the comments made by the General Secretary against the current and past president of IAPA through mail and hereby instruct him not to repeat it in future. AGM is the forum to putforth grievances and members were advised not to use mails and social media in this regard. President clarified all the allegations leveled against him by General Secretary in AGM.
11. AGM has authorised the executive committee to take appropriate disciplinary action against those flouting the regulations and thereby bringing disrepute to the association.
12. The MOM will be uploded in the official website for all the members to go through it.
13. AGM,henceforth will be conducted on Day 2 of the conference between 10am -12 noon.
