As you are aware that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has been striving to bring standardization and regulation for the allied and healthcare professionals, it has been observed since long that the policy development and planning is incapacitated due to lack of available data on the numbers of professionals in the system. The Government has robust repository and regular updates on the professionals working in the rural public healthcare system. However, the Ministry has been estimating the total numbers of allied and healthcare professionals based on information provided by the associations/organizations else literature review.

Looking at the impending need of credible information of available human resources and institutions for A&HPs, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare thus aims to release a platform for creating a national database of allied and healthcare professionals in the system with a provision of voluntary enrollment. Once the statutory body is established, the database may be converted as a Live Register for allied and healthcare professionals.

You are hereby requested to please display the following link- www.a2hp.mohfw.gov.in/ on your websites prominently to enable allied and healthcare professionals to register themselves by uploading their personal/professional data into the portal.

It is further requested that you may please encourage the professionals from your field to enroll in the portal at the earliest. Please provide feedback to us before December 27, 2017, as the portal is scheduled to be formally released by 1st January 2018.
