Welcome to the website of the Indian Association of Physician Assistants (IAPA).

By accessing or using the IAPA website, submitting information, applying for membership, or using services provided through the website, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the website.

1. About IAPA

The Indian Association of Physician Assistants (IAPA) is a national professional association established to unify and promote the Physician Associate profession in India.

IAPA provides a platform for Physician Associates, clinicians, educators, students and researchers and supports professional development, education, research, professional recognition and related activities.

2. Eligibility for Life Membership

IAPA currently offers one membership category:

Life Member of IAPA

Life Membership is available only to Indian nationals who satisfy the membership eligibility requirements established by IAPA.

The Life Membership fee is:

₹5,000 (Indian Rupees Five Thousand only)

The fee is payable once and is not an annual or recurring membership subscription.

3. Membership Application

Applicants must provide accurate, complete and current information during the membership application process.

IAPA may verify information provided by an applicant before approving membership.

IAPA reserves the right to request additional information or documentation where reasonably necessary to verify eligibility.

4. Membership Approval

Submission of a membership application and payment of the membership fee does not automatically constitute final membership approval.

Membership becomes effective upon acceptance and confirmation by IAPA in accordance with its applicable membership procedures.

5. Member Responsibilities

Members are expected to:

  • Provide accurate information to IAPA.
  • Keep their contact information updated.
  • Use IAPA membership appropriately.
  • Respect the professional nature and objectives of the association.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Respect other members, professionals and participants in IAPA activities.
  • Not misuse IAPA’s name, logo, membership credentials or other intellectual property.

6. Membership Credentials

Where IAPA issues a membership certificate, membership number, digital credential, card or other evidence of membership, such material remains subject to IAPA’s membership rules.

Members must not transfer, sell, lend or otherwise allow another person to use their membership credentials.

7. Website Use

You agree to use the IAPA website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems.
  • Introduce malicious software, viruses or harmful code.
  • Interfere with website operation or security.
  • Use the website to transmit unlawful, misleading, abusive or harmful material.
  • Attempt to obtain another person’s personal information without authorisation.

Nothing on the IAPA website should be interpreted as creating a doctor-patient, clinician-patient or other professional-client relationship between IAPA and a website visitor.

IAPA may provide information and registration facilities for:

11. Payments

Payments made through the IAPA website may be processed by third-party payment service providers.

IAPA is not responsible for delays, failures or interruptions caused solely by banks, payment gateways, internet service providers or other third-party systems outside IAPA’s reasonable control.

Membership refunds are governed by the IAPA Refund Policy.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, IAPA will not be responsible for losses arising from:
